Simple joys for today: Right now, this very second, we are singing and dancing to the Hoots Mon! :D
My wool finally came and I started and very nearly finished another little mouse for a customer. :)
As always, it starts with a head and face:
Seeing their little face and their personality starting to form makes me so happy! Plus now they can tell me what they want to be, and other little mousey secrets. :)
Then I make their other parts, and put them all together:
As you can see, he is nearly done. He is just missing a tail and some proper daylight for proper photos. :) Also realised that the little hamster from yesterday also needs a tiny tail! Silly me. So 2 tails tomorrow, and some photos, then I will start on a chipmunk for the next customer. She has even sent me some photos of her own pet which is so handy as I've never made one before!
It's nice to be expanding my collection and making things that can be remade. But I like that I also make some things that are completely unique and cannot be remade even if I wanted to. I think I'm offering the best of all worlds!
Plus, it was shopping day so we have cake.
