Today has been a very busy but very lovely day!
It started with finishing the dog from yesterday. I like him much better now that he is complete!
Obviously not very realistic, but then I don't think my style allows that anyway. :) There are many needle felters out there who do realistic dogs, and animals in general. I like that I have a slightly different style that is my own. :)
Next I made a hare for the same lady, another first for me, I'd never made one before!
He has been well loved on my Facebook page, and I love him too! I will be making more of these... The worst bit was mixing the right amount of wool. (There's 4 different colours in that brown!) I always find that a boring and tedious job, but after that, he came together nicely. :)
Today has also been about the giveaway. I (well, a random number generator) chose 3 winners and I got 3 very happy and appreciative messages from the winners which has been so lovely. If needle felting didn't take so long and take so much energy from me I would do so many more as it's so nice to be able to give a little bit back. :)
I had lots of messages and comments to reply to today, I am not used to having so much activity on my page! It's been nice, if a bit hectic. My head was spinning by the time it was over. :)
We got back from a nice (if a bit cold and dark) walk a little while ago. We both needed some fresh air. We talked the whole way and it was really nice. We've been around people who argue a lot, or talk at each other without listening and it really makes us appreciate our relationship so much more. We are very lucky. <3
