New stuff.

I recently got some Moo.com greetings cards printed with some of my designs on.

I've gone for a part photo and part digital art combo, to be a little bit different. They are fun to make and it's a nice thing to do while my poor poked-too-many-times-fingers are healing.

I was a bit worried about the quality but they didn't turn out so bad! The colours aren't perfect and some of the detail in the artwork has gotten lost in the print process, but I am happy enough with them. I hope to improve in the future though.

Here they all are on the table.

This was the first one I made, and probably my favourite. :)

They aren't all bears! I plan to make more in the future of different things and for different occasions. :)

I was able to reuse some of the artwork to make different designs with different bears. Like these balloons.

There are Birthday, Christmas and Thank You cards so far.

These huggy bears didn't want to be left out of the fun!

And a bear in a Santa hat can never be bad. :)

And this chap got reused because he's so sweet.

Aside from cards getting printed, I have still been felting too. I finished this one the other day.

I think she turned out lovely, very summery! :) She is still looking for her new home.

And I finished this one which was snapped up the same day, which is always so nice!

We had another picnic... This time outside! We went to fetch the strawberries from our local Pick Your Own Fruit Farm... Which turns out to be a lot further from where I live than expected (at least when walking!) and does a lot more than just provide berries. They have all sorts of things in there like fruit and veg and jams and honey and meat and sauces and cute little ornamental things to buy and we will definitely have another look at some point.

There was a park across the road and we ate there. We picked up some raspberries also and both were yummy, somehow we didn't have any left for bringing home with us... Not sure how it happened! :) We even ended up breaking up some chocolate bars to mix in with the second bowl... Actually, it's probably a good thing it is so far to walk to as what with all the cream and yumminess I probably gained a lot of weight back on just from that. :D

I was very lucky a few days ago when I received an email (which I will admit I thought was a hoax at first) saying I had won a copy of the Feathered Friends book from Mollie Makes. But, I received it today. Haven't had a proper look yet but it looks very pretty so far!

Till next time! Xxx
