A Wrong Turn and a Helper Bear.

We went out in the car a few days ago, on a really nice day and we didn't really have any preference to where we were going, but we definitely wanted to head to a beach, as that is what we do! (Which you may have noticed by now!)

We took a wrong turning somewhere and it turned out great because we found a new place we'd not been to before, and it had putting and a beach and everything we love!

There was a small hut from where they did kayaking, abseiling, putting, archery and a few more things which I can't remember now. The man there said it had been open for 28 years, so goodness knows how we'd never been to it before!

For the putting itself, everyone played really well (I was my usual rubbish self, but I enjoy it so it's all good!) but my mum especially was on fire and so for once my dad didn't win! Not even with Martins help when he accidentally hit his ball and it went in the hole. ;) Mum got the only hole-in-one shot.

Crafting has been slow, I really must make more of an effort to get back on track.

I have updated a few photos and added them to Facebook and I have a few ideas to redesign a few things, it's just getting round to it that seems to be the problem. I am lacking in motivation it seems!

And I have these poor things waiting for some attention and accessories! I also have one more that needs put together. As I say, I am going very slow lately. :(

Helper Bear got a profile made though, as he has such a great personality, he really deserves it! I plan to use him in photos of all my smaller items, to show their size.

Nothing special as yet, but I already have lots of cartoony plans for him! Some of which I will share later in the month. :)

In other news, Martin has gone back to England because it's his best friends Stag Do tonight. It'll be strange being here without him! He had originally thought he would just be one night away, but now the flan (we don't make plans as the plan-destroying monsters always ruin everything! So we make flans instead.) is for him to visit his mum while he's there, so he might not get back till Tuesday! Not sure how I will cope with that.

He had to get up super early to finish packing and catch the bus and then the train... Someone suggested having custard and chocolate sponge at 6am, it might have been me... So we did. It seemed like a good time to have it. Not sure it helped to wake me up, and I did go back to bed once he left at about 7. Had some very bizarre dreams though!

He also recently got a new phone. I am very jealous, though I do love my phone. I just really love playing with new gadgets! His new SIM card arrived today after he was gone, typical.

Last night he gave me a bit of a fashion parade with all his various shirts and suits to see what would look best for his night out. I was no help, I thought he looked gorgeous in everything. :)

Best go do something useful now!
