Today we agreed early on that today needed to be a fresh air day. We didn't really have any picnic food but we made up a couple of rolls and headed out. :)
We ate here, not very far from the house, but very pretty! We're so incredibly lucky to have such nice places on our doorstep! Beaches and flowers and woods and golf courses.
It was a very sunny day, but windy too. I'm really grateful for breezes as I really don't cope well in the heat.
It's gone black outside now and I'm sure the thunder and lightning is coming again soon!

But I liked this one too. :) Minus the double chin would have been nice though!
We'd hoped to take the dog with us but the owners weren't home. When we got back they were back too though, typical. Still, there's always next time!
No crafting has been done, but I shall get back to it tomorrow. I need to try another owl, the previous one was a bit unfortunate looking. :D I will keep him and love him though.
I've been having a play with some Paint apps, but the one I like best keeps crashing so it's a bit (a lot!) frustrating. I'm really really out of practice with the whole art thing. If it's not shapes and vectors, I can't do it. :D I will try and keep practicing though! Maybe I can sketch some ideas out for future needle felted things?
