I've had a headache for most of the day and not feeling at my best, but I have managed to make this new style owl and I love how he turned out!
I think I was never very sure of the other style owl and wanted to change it but wasn't sure what I wanted. I did a bit of a sketch yesterday for ideas. (Though, this little owl turned out much cuter than the sketch!)
I like having things that their heads can turn, I find it gives them a little more personality. So I really wanted to add that. :) Big fan of the love heart shape so added one of those too and I've been really enjoying stitching things lately so I kept those as well.
I looked through my wools and found a light brown that I'd not used before and thought it'd be perfect. Much much easier than hand blending colours! I really like the gold thread too, I might use that on them all. :)
And his eyes are not nearly as wonky as the previous one!
Maybe I'll make another in this style tomorrow, but a different colour. We shall see.
