Have been working more on my new cards with felted embellishments today. It's been really nice! The felting part was not taxing so it was a nice way to get back in to it without being overwhelmed. :) No frustrations of things not going right and wanting to launch it across the room either!
I remade the beach one as it was a little big, and also a slightly wrong colour. It blends much nicer now. I can't show you the finished version yet, but it has all been stitched and beaded and has its shell added too. :) I can tell you however that it looks really good!
This is the new design, just waiting for someone's initials to be added!
They can now be for sale, with a white envelope, wrapped in cellophane and sent in a hard backed envelope for protection. They'll be £4.50 each with uk p&p being £1.20. They'll make lovely gifts for Valentines, Anniversaries, Birthdays etc... Or my favourite, just to say that you're thinking of someone. :)
I have a list of other ideas for them too. Really happy with them so far! They'll be nice for my Etsy shop if I ever get round to setting it up again. :) (It's on my todo list.)
Other joys for today:
Having baked potatoes with chilli and cheese soon! Yum yum. (Side note: We scrub them with a nail brush we got in a Christmas Cracker! :P)
Been reading up and learning about puppies - training, food Etc. So if we are allowed one one day I will be a little prepared at least!
We are up to the musical episode in Buffy tonight so that will be fun! It's always one of my favourites. Thinking about it, I do like musicals. One of my favourite films is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! Mamma Mia is also good... Might need to watch that again soon. :D
