Simple joys, entry 49.

I am a bit of a strange one. It seems I can't cope so well with bursts of happiness or excitement. It tires me out so quickly!

I had a bit of a fit of the giggles this morning, when I saw Martin's little nose poking out of the covers and nothing else, he was wrapped up like a sausage roll as it'd been so cold during the night. It started the day off nice having the giggles, but I lost all energy and was quite low for the rest if the day. I don't know if it's part of the CFS or if it's just me?

Anyway, onto simple joys! I had some lovely messages today from people who'd recently received their needle felted items and it really does make it all worthwhile. I'm sure every crafter feels the same: at times it can be so tough to keep going that it feels like the best option would be to give it all up. But messages like I get from my lovely customers make me realise that I am doing the right thing and that the bad times happen so that I can appreciate the good ones all the more. I am very lucky.

I realised today that it'll be Halloween soon enough, and I made a collage of my previous makes:

They were all so much fun to make as it's a wee bit different than my usual thing, but I was a bit stuck about what to try this year. A vampire with a cape seems like a popular choice though as some Facebook friends have suggested. :) Also, quite apt since we've been watching Buffy for the last few months... Last 2 episodes are tomorrow though! I'll miss it, but it's been great to watch them again. :)
