Simple joys, entry 75.

I didn't blog yesterday as it was a bad day and we were quite keen to forget about it.

One good thing did come out of it though, this little guy. :)

He'll be posted on Monday to his new home.

Today was a much better day. Martin suggested a walk and I suggested seeing if next doors dog would like to go with us as we'd not seen him in a while!

Well, he did very much want to. :)

He still loves my old pink dressing gown tie, he always grabs it when he sees us and then it's play time!

Afterwards there were kisses:

But then he wanted down as it was time to go for that walk!

We went to see some cows. They were very inquisitive, but Muffin wasn't keen on them.

He didn't take his eyes off them for a second! He really didn't seem to trust them at all. He would happily run across roads to see a person he's never met before though and on our way here he followed a little girl who was carrying some chocolates, we weren't sure if he wanted to play with her or eat the chocolates! She was a bit afraid, but she tickled him under the chin and he licked her arm. :)

The cows were lovely though even though the dog didn't like them. :)

A few of them gathered round the water trough and we joked that they were having a gossip about us and the dog. Then afterwards when we were walking away, the dog kept turning back to see if he could still see them. He didn't wag his tail again for ages! Poor thing. :)

Still, he, and we, had a lovely walk and it was so nice to see him again, it really does lift my spirits. We've still not heard anything from our landlords about permission to get one of our own. I really hope they change their minds.

Tomorrow, I hope to be back to "normal" and back to working on orders again. I have some more guinea pigs to make! I've not managed to work more on my witch yet, I had time but no motivation today. Most days I have motivation but no time or energy! Hope I get her done by Halloween. :)

A huge thank you to My Lovely Martin for suggesting a walk today when otherwise I would have stayed miserable I'm sure. He knows me well, I am very lucky. <3
