I got a lovely customer photo the other day from a lady who bought a penguin for her daughter to add to her collection. And what a lovely collection it is! Good taste for a 10 year old. :)
We were talking about what we collected ourselves when we were young and all I could think of was posters on the bedroom wall. (Which my poor dad had to put up with!) But I don't think I collected anything as such and I still don't... Well, I guess I gather masses of things that I don't need but "might one day find a use for"! I am quite sure that is not the same thing though! I love her daughters penguin collection and am proud of my wee penguin being part of it. :) He is definitely amongst family and friends.
Today I started a purpley elephant, who I hope to finish tomorrow.
Such a gorgeous colour that I'd been dying to use for a while! Possibly for the future there might be a purple bear or 2 because... Well, it's two of my favourite things. :)
Also today, the little house from a few days ago went into my Etsy shop:
And I have, once again, been fiddling with the prices as the prices keep changing and things go up in price when I didn't want them to! Aaargh!
Anyway... It's Martins birthday tomorrow so I am not really sure what's happening for the day. Seems a bit cold and windy for a nice walk. :( We can't go for a meal either because of the healthy eating thing, so really not too sure. And we watch films so often here that it can't really be classed as a treat! I hope he has a nice day regardless!
