The return of Goth Bear.

Just over 2 years ago, a lovely customer asked me if I could make her a Goth Bear with black and white striped tights and purple hair. I thought she was insane. :) I thought it was so far from my "style" that I couldn't do it. I think my dad and I had a good laugh at the thought of me even attempting it!

It just goes to show you... I don't think I've had so much fun while working on a bear before. It was so different from my usual bears and it stretched my imagination and forced me to learn new skills and techniques to complete it. I loved making him. My dad made the coffin... I couldn't get my head around the angles!

A couple of days ago I turned him into digital artwork. I work in a couple of different art program's which I will tell you about another time, this was a screen shot of him in the making... (Albeit almost done at this point.)

He just needed his fab dreadlocks, this is how the finished print turned out... (Named by the lovely lady who asked for him.)

And then a matching birthday card was made...

They would make a nice alternative birthday gift set. :)

The next day I made this one...

Which I think also makes a lovely print! I will make different colour options for this one soon.

It's been nice to revisit some old favourites, I hope to get everything covered eventually so that no one is left out. :)

You can see both these prints and many others on my website.
