Not long now till the big day! I have finished wrapping everything today and we'll start with the food preparations tomorrow evening.
Christmas film watching has been underway and so far we have watched: Scrooged on Netflix, the Elf dvd I added to our collection for this year, and today we watched Miracle on 34th Street. Tomorrow is the one I'm looking forward to - It's a Wonderful Life! The 3 left for Christmas Day: Christmas Vacation, The Polar Express and Love Actually.
We've been eating this:
Breads and various picked things plus sun dried tomatoes, with ham and cheese. It's been nice but I still don't like olives and those peppers were far too spicy! Still, I like all the little different tastes. :)
Yesterday I dyed and cut my hair. It's not amazing, but it's freshened up at least. Today we went for a little walk and took these photos:
I took this one and then realised I was not showing the sea in the photo! Silly me. :) The hair looks too dark here too, but this one is more accurate:
I've gone for a more natural red this time. I still had a bottle in a cupboard from when I bought one ages ago... It was a buy one get one half price offer or something. ;)
Oh, and I wanted to tell you about the Christmas Present I bought myself! I hadn't actually intended to buy anything but while looking through various lists of things I noticed that a bag I've had my eye on for ages was finally in stock. It's been on my list for a long time but never in stock, not in any of the colours I wanted. But it finally was and also in purple! Well, I had to get it. :)
Isn't it pretty? It has lots of pockets for all my various bits and bobs (plus space for dog poop bags incase we ever see/walk Muffin again... Or for our own one day!) and it's purple! There's a side pocket that when opened up it fits a water bottle too, which I've not tried yet but love the idea of for summer. I am very happy with it and glad I bought it now rather than doing what I usually do of deliberating for months and then it being out of stock again. :)
If I don't write again before, I'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas from us, and a Happy New Year!
