Back to work and normality...

...well, a little. :)

I have gone back to work and it's been fun so far! It started with one of my favourite things in the world, Strawberries!

Don't they look delicious? They are off to Wales.

After that I started on 3 tiny bears. They are such hard work for something so small and my fingers really suffer for it. I only make a few of these a year and 2 of them are on their way to their new homes.

This was the first and smallest.

Next was the hardest one to make, a tiny jointed bear.
And lastly was this cutie who is looking for a home.

Today was so warm and when my parents came to visit we'd originally planned to go for a game of putting, but we decided against it.

Instead, we went to a different beach to our usual ones, one we'd not been to in a lot of years and it was lovely!

It was warm when sitting in the sun, but there was a breeze there which made it really pleasant.

The place has been worked on since any of us had last been there with lots of picnic benches around and there was a food stall serving coffee, hot chocolate and crepes filled with all sorts of delicious sounding goodies... Both sweet and savoury! If we'd not planned to eat afterwards I'd have loved to sample some. ;) But alas, we were going to a restaurant afterwards. (Martin and me were very tempted though!)

The beach was almost pristine; very clean and big. There could have been hundreds of people there and it was big enough that you'd barely notice. There were a few on blankets, or between the sand dunes having picnics. :)

As it was a warm day, this had to happen, it's the rules!

It was cold, but not uncomfortably so. :) It was refreshing.

Such a beautiful day. :) Lots of people with dogs though, which always makes me a little sad, especially with such beautiful places to walk one!

So, back to the felting again tomorrow. Not decided what yet, so we shall see! It will probably be another miniature felted painting though as those are such fun to make and the ideas are endless. :)

I have plans to make a video showing a little bit of how I make a needle felted bear, but I need to buy a tripod for my camera first. I did have one but it's gone rusty inside and the threads don't work anymore to screw the head on it. In fact, I'll go order one now so that it will arrive next week and I can get started. It should be fun.
