Sunday's.

This year, I'm going to have every Sunday off and it will also be blog day.

Today I have been sorting out my wool and crafting things. Getting rid of the little bits of thread that get snipped and put in the sewing box, and little bits of wool that get blended but are too little to use for anything useful... That also ends up in the sewing box. After a while it means that I'm constantly picking thread and wool out of my needles, scissors and everything else before I can use them.

As for the wool itself, I'd been storing it in 2 drawers still in their plastic bags. It was fine but the bags were so full of air that I couldn't close the drawers and wool was spilling everywhere! That won't end well when we have a puppy running around. :) So now all the wool is out of their bags and back in the drawers. It looks quite nice and neat now and I'll post a photo when I've finished the rest of the things. (Putting ribbons back where they belong etc.)

A lovely customer sent me this photo earlier of her collection. Isn't it fabulous? I never get sick of these types of photos and they always make me smile to know they are so loved!

Yesterday I made a bear. It was so nice to get back to work but it's definitely still more tiring than it should be, so I am not back to normal health yet. I keep hoping my new dosage of medication will kick in and fix everything but I'm starting to think it must be something else. :(

I'll be posting lots of work in progress shots this year as I find them interesting myself.

This wee one is due his accessories tomorrow. He's going to be a slight remake of a bear I made a few years ago and I'm interested to see if I've improved In either technique or style!

We're hoping to get out for a short walk each day this year too, but the weather has been miserable so we've only managed 2 of the 3 days so far. I hope we can get some dry days soon as it's definitely not much fun when it's raining and windy as it has been! It's hard enough getting out of bed let alone going outside when it's not nice.

I best go, I am literally surrounded in plastic bags at the moment, must finish tidying up!
