Valentines Bears.

Hello! Sunday again already. This week has flown but it also seemed like a struggle the whole way. I've just been so tired.

On Monday I photographed the Valentine Bear I made. He's in my Etsy shop hoping to find someone to share his love with. As you can see, he has a big heart. :)

And here's his little video, click on the picture to see it in Instagram.

Isn't he a cutie? I love making one of a kind bears!

Wednesday saw me back at the doctors in town to see the nurse, though sadly it was a waste of time. She told me that since my blood pressure was still high, I'd have to make another doctors appointment so I'll be back on Wednesday again, though thankfully I got an appointment here so don't have to travel on the bus. Really need to get things sorted very soon. I feel like all I do is rest and whine and do a tiny bit of felting when I can!

Next up was another Valentine bear, this time a lady bear. In fact, a Fairy Bear. :)

And another video:

They turned out so sweet, I couldn't be happier! Now I just have to hope they find homes in time. You see it all worked out in the end, when the first little bear told me he didn't want to be a fairy bear and I really wanted to make some heart shaped wings. Our compromise was that I make 2 bears instead. So glad I did!

On Friday Martin had to head away for his friends wedding. He got up at 7am but we'd had so little sleep that I felt really ill and barely got to say goodbye to him as I was sure I was going to be sick. I really don't do too well without enough sleep. So I rested a lot and updated my Etsy shop. Now all prices are inclusive of worldwide shipping, not just the new listings. You can still opt to pay extra if you want it delivered faster or tracked and signed for, but you don't have to. :) Plus, you contact me if you'd like more than one item as there might be a discount available too, so always worthwhile doing!

Yesterday my parents came to visit, and we went out for a meal. I had a little headache When they arrived but thought it'd be fine and was looking forward to some fresh air.

Unfortunately I don't always travel too well and when we got in the car my head got a lot worse and I had a horrible stabbing pain in my eye too. I very nearly had to ask to stop the car and give up on the day out and head back to bed, but I stuck with it and was OKish in the end. It's still not gone away yet though I've been drinking lots of water and sleeping when I feel I need to. I feel zapped of energy and a bit sorry for myself.

But I managed to make some scones for mum and dad in the morning and they took them home with them, I hope they like them! :)

I finally got some photos taken of my Filofax! I figure the easiest way to show them (as there's quite a few) is by video. I seem to be a bit addicted to making them. Hope you're not bored of them yet! As always, click below to see the video play. :)

I made the dashboard and dividers myself, using some pretty papers I bought. They weren't quite big enough so I added an extra bit on the bottom of each and put some silver sparkly washi tape to hold it in place, then I laminated them. Though, remind me not to cut too close to the edges next time as the laminating pouch isn't as secure around the paper as it should be now! I'm still learning about all this stuff though and for now they look OK. The bear face and cloud on my dashboard are little stacks of sticky notes that I designed and printed and cut with my machine. I used a restickable glue stick on the top of each note and stuck them all together. I don't actually use them, they just stay there looking pretty. :P The little Unicorn, Bear, Rainbow and Strawberry are little bookmarks to use at the top of pages that I want to mark, but I also made a page finder out of scrap paper that I had left when making the dividers, which I use to put between the pages of my week, so I don't really need to use those either!

Then I have little postcards, greetings cards and business info from friends that I've been sent something from or bought from.

Well, that's about it for this week. Martin will be home soon and it'll be lovely to see him. He's only been away a few days but it has been very quiet without him! The next time he's away will be for longer as he has friends to see, a baby to meet and family to catch up with. :)

Hoping to do some felting tomorrow, and I have a wool delivery arriving too which is always lovely! Not many different things this time but some new sparkly bits that should mix with my existing wool to make some nice things with. I'm thinking fairy wings and mermaid tails!

Thanks for reading.
